Simpson and Lachey were reality TV pioneers. Their MTV show "Newlyweds" chronicled their often dippy home life on MTV from 2003 to 2005. The two divorced in 2005, after just three seasons.
Simpson, 30, met Johnson -- a vegan former NFL player last May. Five months later, according to Us Weekly, his divorce from an estranged wife was final and Simpson began tweeting treacly messages about her new love.
The pair has yet to announce a wedding date.
